3 Sunday Habits For a Successful Week at Work

Few people like Sundays – or at least Sunday evenings. People start feeling the dread that usually comes with Monday’s morning. I must say that I stopped feeling that since high-school, simply because I realised that everything was pretty much “head-made”. If you like to feel bad about yourself, your work and life in general as soon as Sunday goes by, well then keep navigating through your blues, but if you are fed up of feeling the unnecessary negativity associated with Mondays then you need to work out your attitude and thoughts. Why We Crave Chocolate Under Stress

Sweet foods can actually be a quick-fix for stress, because it gives us comfort and a good feeling. The problem is, again, when we are exposed to stress for a long period of time and we keep insisting on a quick-fix approach to stress, like having that chocolate piece of cake or a whole tablet of chocolate. This solution doesn’t work in the long run, because even though dopamine keeps being released, we become more and more intolerant to sugar’s effect, needing thus increasing doses of sugar to achieve that same “good feeling” we felt before.
